I created this display for a Pre-Colombian slingshot purchased in Lima, Peru. The faux stonework, carved from foam board, is meant to mimic a style of Inca masonry where irregularly shaped stones are fitted closely together without mortar. (Woven slingshots were common weapons as well as ceremonial and decorative items in the Chimú, Chancay and Inca cultures. This slingshot may be Chancay and pre-Incan.)
